Online Leak Repair - Mission Critical Checklist Items

I have always been obsessed with the Navy Seals. Some of the most hardcore people on the planet, dead set on nothing more than fulfilling their mission. The Seals are continually training, never knowing when they will be deployed or how intense the mission will be. But they know, that when that mission comes, that they better be ready.

For myself, it helps to imagine myself being hardcore like a Navy Seal when working on a super rush Leak Repair design at 2 am. Getting into the mindset of being super hardcore and fulfilling the mission of quickly and safely securing a leak is a rush, and the key to completing that mission is to have a clear directive of what the mission objective truly is.

That’s why, as the cornerstone of our quality checks, we developed what we call the Mission Critical Checklist. These items are designed to ensure every repair meets rigorous standards for safety, functionality, and quality. The Mission Critical Items serve two primary objectives: delivering a product our customers can rely on and protecting everyone involved in the repair by reducing risks associated with design oversights.

Our philosophy is simple: we succeed when our customers succeed. Every Mission Critical Item is developed with that collective achievement in mind. Here’s what we focus on:

Mission Critical Items:

  1. Is it safe?

  2. Does it fit?

  3. Will it seal?

  4. Can it be installed?

  5. Are we landing on the best place to close?

  6. Is the enclosure supported to prevent movement?

  7. Can it be manufactured?

  8. Double check the field dimension measurements / 3D scan data for accuracy

  9. Are all assumptions eliminated, or have they been properly communicated to the customer along with the risks?

No design is released until every Mission Critical Item is fully satisfied. Our team is rigorously trained to meet these standards, and every design must pass a thorough review process, including sign-offs for each Mission Critical Item and compliance with our standard QC checklist.

I may never be a Navy SEAL, and my coworkers might not share my nutty enthusiasm for imagining ourselves in that role. But what I do know is this: every one of us works relentlessly to fulfill our mission on every leak repair job, delivering the best possible product to ensure your success.
